Los angeles

So I haven't updated in a while. I am in Los angeles, Venice beach to be precise, typing on an iPad as I couldnt be botherd to bring my laptop. Anyways I love venice beach. I feel kinda at home with my soul, just relaxing and chilling and slowing down the pace of life. I have tried and done so many new things. I love it. I have been going through a bit of a difficult time in my life and I felt the need to do something crazy and totally out of character so that i could learn about myself and place in the world. When I am flung somewhere new, I tend to go really quiet as I take in my new sourroundings. Anyways, of e 60 dresses I own, managed to pick out about 20. Rather proud of myself for that feet. Will try and get pictures up when I can.

Saturday fever

I am off in a couple of weeks to America and Canada. This means I have to pick from about 60 dresses which is not going to be fun. It also means hand washing each one of them, which is sure to take a whole day. As you can probably guess I an not looking forward to this. Anyways, I downloaded an app for my iPad to mess around with photos. My camera was playing up today so they weren't great quality to begin with. Anyways here is me in one of my favourite dresses, along with a jacket that I picked up in Argentina.

I bought a beautiful wrist corsage off of etsy, which I really like but it's a bit big for me.

I hope you all have a great weekend. It's finally stopped constantly chucking it down, it now just rains every so often so I have been able to go running again. Given that I eat mostly cake and custard, I need to run!

I've not been great at keeping this up to date. Not for any real reason, I've just been exhausted a lot. I've also I suppose got another reason why I don't update as much as I should. I read a lot of style blogs, and spend my time amazed at people's style. They have soo many different outfits, and put things together differently and so well. I am truly in awe of them. And then there is me. My style is simple and unchanging, and the same everyday. I wear a dress, and put something in my hair and voila. Yes, it's my style, and yes it is a bit boring. I don't push my style boundaries.

I am very much into trying to look feminine, and classy. I don't follow fashion, mostly because I don't care for it, and well a lot of the time I find trends to be absolutely disgusting. It makes me laugh when every tom dick and harry then follows a certain trend, and it really doesn't suit them. It makes me wonder if people actually take the time to look at what they are wearing. Not that I'm saying people should look at what they wear.

I'd like to develop my style and mix it up a bit, but staying true to my beliefs. I am not writing a blog to wear what you guys tell me to wear, I am writing a blog about what I like to wear, and if people like it, then kool, and if they don't, kool still. If they don't think it's experimental enough, then fine.

However, I'd like you guys to write ideas about how I can improve and mix it up a bit, and I'll try to explore any ideas that I think would suit me....

so yes! Get going with those ideas!

Finally!

So exams are over! I am thoroughly exhausted, as for the last two months I have done little but revise, and sleep and eat. Oh and occasionally an exam was thrown in here and there. So yes, I have been trying to look good each day, but not had time to take photos daily. So anyways, I was going to share a load of pictures I had taken of me but never had time to upload. Unfortunately, my laptop died and I had to reformat the hard drive, thus losing well...everything! So here, are a few pictures that I did manage to save......
